This page provides the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© and Indicator MT4/5© set files, along with clear instructions and helpful advice. To replicate the Matrix Arrows that the EA will trade across various symbols and timeframes, ensure you load the corresponding Indicator set files.
Before setting up your EA and Indicator, adjust the max bars in chart to 1000 via MT4/5 >> Tools >> Options >> Charts. High values, like thousands or millions, can slow down the Indicator, as it calculates 10 standard indicators over an excessive number of bars.
Check your broker's server time in the Marketwatch window to ensure alignment. The set files are tailored for ICMarkets GMT+3 servers, so if your broker is GMT+0, you'll need to shift all trading hours back by 3 hours. For example:
Start Hour: 12
Start Minutes: 00
End Hour: 22
End Minutes: 50
you need to change it to:
Start Hour: 9
Start Minutes: 00
End Hour: 19
End Minutes: 50
Notice: Using the default settings of the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5© will result in arrows that don’t match those the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© trades with when using specific symbol set files. To ensure consistency, always load the corresponding indicator set files as instructed above.
Warning! For trading a single set file, the default Risk % per trade of 3% is acceptable. For multiple set files, consider lowering the Risk % to 1%-2%. If you’re trading all the recommended set files, it’s strongly advised to adjust the Risk % per trade to 0.5%-1% for each symbol.

1. Make sure your MQL5 balance has enough funds for the purchase, as using your balance is simpler than paying by credit card during the checkout process.
2. Search for the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© on MQL5.com and navigate to its product page.
3. Click Buy or Rent to proceed with your purchase.
4. Choose how you’d like to pay and press the green Next button to move forward with the transaction.
5. After completing your payment, access your MT4/5 terminal to begin downloading and installing the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5©.
6. It’s important to log in to your MT4/5 terminal using your MQL5 account username, not email or any other login method. For example, my username is the last part of my profile URL: eleanna74 from https://www.mql5.com/en/users/eleanna74.
7. Go to MT4/5 >> Tools >> Options >> Community tab to verify you are logged in with your MQL5 account credentials.
8. In your MT4 Terminal window, navigate to the Market tab located at the bottom. On the left side, click on Purchased and then press the blue Install button next to your newly acquired product. For MT5, access the Navigator window, select the Market folder, and then choose Purchases. A Purchases window will appear on the right, showing all your purchases. From there, click the Install button for your newly bought product.
Notice: If you can't see your purchase when you click the Purchased option, check the below mentioned issues:
Make sure that:
that you have all the latest Windows Updates installed
that you have Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge latest version installed on your computer or VPS
that you are using the latest build of MetaTrader 4/5
that you are logged into your MQL5 account in MT4/5 >> Tools >> Options >> Community tab, using your login - NOT your email
that your MQL5 account password is less than 10 characters (if your password is 10 or more characters - change MQL5 account password here)
In case you still don't see the product on the list of your purchases in the terminal, try the following:
Close ALL your MetaTrader terminals
Go to C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\Community
Delete all files starting from mql4.market.* and mql5.market.*
Open the MetaTrader terminal
Try to install your product again
9. To get notifications about Matrix Arrow signals, you may want to configure email, terminal, and push notifications on your MT4/5 terminal. Please note that these alerts will be sent by the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5©, not the EA.
10. Open MT4/5 >> Tools >> Options >> Email tab and enter the required information for your email and server to enable notifications. An example of the settings you need, along with the SMTP configurations for popular email providers, is provided below.
In the SMTP server field you need to put your email provider’s SMTP address, you can see most of the popular providers below.
In the SMTP login field you need to put your full email, for example: johnsmith@gmail.com
In the SMTP password field, you need to put your email’s password.
In the From and To fields, you need to put your full name a comma and then your email again, for example: John Smith, johnsmith@gmail.com

11. To enable push notifications, open MT4/5 >> Tools >> Options >> Notifications tab, and input your mobile or tablet’s MQL5 ID to receive push notifications. You can locate this MQL5 ID by going to Settings >> Messages in the MT4/5 mobile app.
Another way to find your MQL5 ID is through your MQL5 account profile by going to Settings >> Security.
12. To enable Terminal alerts, tick the relevant option in MT4/5 >> Tools >> Options >> Events tab.
13. For the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© to function correctly and trade signals from the Matrix Arrow Indicator, both products must be installed on your terminal. It is recommended to apply both the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5© and the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© to your chart to get a complete overview of your trading setup.
Open the chart for your selected symbol, then navigate to the Navigator window on the left in your MT4/5 terminal. Locate the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5© under Indicators >> Market and drag it onto the chart, or double-click it.
14. The settings window for the Indicator will appear. Here, you can adjust the parameters according to your preferences and ensure the notification settings are configured in the Inputs tab. The default settings for all indicators are optimized and ready for immediate use in any market conditions.

15. After completing the setup of your Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5©, click OK. The default settings for all 10 indicators are specially optimized and ready for use across any instrument and timeframe. The Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5© will now be visible on your MT4/5 terminal. Use your mouse to adjust the Matrix height, and you are ready to start trading with it!
16. You can now attach the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© to the same chart. Look for it in the Market folder under the Experts section in the Navigator window of your MT4/5 terminal and drag it onto the chart or double-click to apply it.
17. The Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© window will open. In the Common tab, make sure to tick the options for Allow Auto/Algo Trading and Allow Modification of Signals.
18. In the Inputs tab, if you wish to use the on-chart Trade Panel with the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5©, set the first Use Panel option to true. Afterward, change the second Used Indicator setting* to the Matrix Arrow Indicator.
* This setting defaults to Moving Average because otherwise, the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5© (which needs to be purchased separately) would be required for the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© to pass the MQL5.com Market validation, which is not feasible.
19. If you're planning to trade manually or automatically using the on-chart Trade Panel, there's no need to change any other settings. Just click OK, and you'll be ready to start trading.
20. The Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© Trading Panel is now visible on your chart, directly above the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5© Matrix window. Feel free to drag it to your preferred location, usually in the top left corner. After enabling Auto/Algo Trading on your MT4/5 terminal, you're good to go.
Tip: If candlesticks are displaying on top of your Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5©, right-click on the chart, choose Properties, go to the Common tab, and unselect the Chart on foreground option.
21. For manual trading, select the timeframe and define the basic parameters of your trades. For instance, to open trades with a specific lot size, enter your preferred lot size (e.g., 0.10) in the Fixed Lot Size field. To apply a percentage risk for each trade, check the Risk % box and specify the desired percentage (e.g., 2.0%). You can also enter values for Take Profit, Stop Loss, Break Even, and/or Trailing Stop Loss. Finally, if you wish to close trades based on an opposite signal, enable the Close by Opposite Signal option.
22. Once you're ready, open your first manual trade by clicking either the Sell by Market or Buy by Market button. Your trade will be executed, and the Stop Loss and/or Take Profit values you entered in the Trade Panel will be displayed on the chart and in the Terminal/Toolbox window.
23. For automatic trading with the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© Trade Panel, enter your preferred settings and activate the Full Algorithmic Trading option. This will prompt the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© to open a buy trade for each new blue/long arrow and a sell trade for each new red/short arrow signal.
WARNING: You cannot transfer the Trade Panel settings to your MQL5 VPS. If you want to trade automatically on the cloud with the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© using the MQL5 VPS, set Use Panel: false and modify the internal settings of the EA as outlined below. Then click the Auto/Algo Trading button on your MT4/5 terminal to sync with your MQL5 VPS.

24. If you're interested in trading the available set files across various symbols but prefer not to use the on-chart Trade Panel, all you need to do is attach the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© to the desired chart and timeframe. Open the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© window and load the correct set file by clicking the Load button in the bottom right corner. After clicking the Auto/Algo Trading button on your MT4/5 terminal, you’re ready for fully automated trading. The small EA icon in the upper-right corner of your chart will turn green and smiling, signaling that the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© is running smoothly.

25. To avoid any power or network issues, the final thing you need to do is get an MQL5 VPS (virtual private server). This will ensure that your Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© and Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5 are running continuously on the cloud, 24/7.
26. In case you don’t have a virtual server for your trading account, right-click on your account number in the Navigator window and choose >> Register a Virtual Server.
27. When the Virtual Hosting Wizard window pops up, choose the plan that best suits your requirements and hit the Next button.
28. After completing your payment, it’s advisable to make sure you have sufficient funds in your MQL5 account and opt for the MQL5 payment method on the left.
29. After you’ve successfully purchased your MQL5 VPS, synchronize your trading setup with the virtual server by right-clicking on the MQL5 VPS in the Navigator window and choosing >> Synchronize experts, indicators.
Notice: It’s important to load both the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5© and Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© on every chart before migrating your trading environment to the MQL5 VPS. If the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5© is missing, you’ll encounter an indicator loading error in the MQL5 VPS Journal.
30. Within a few seconds, the smiling face of your Expert Advisor will turn to a sad face, and the Auto/Algo Trading button will deactivate. This indicates that your trading environment has been successfully synchronized with your MQL5 VPS.
31. To verify successful synchronization, open the MQL5 VPS Journal logs. Right-click on your MQL5 VPS in the Navigator window and click >> Journals.
32. Within your MQL5 VPS's Journals logs, search for this message:
33. Your Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© and Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5© have been successfully synchronized and are now operating in the cloud.
34. You can now close your MT4 terminal and computer, and rest assured that your Expert Advisor will run 24/7 without any issues.
35. Every few days, check the MQL5 VPS Journal to confirm everything is running as expected.
WARNING: After syncing your trading environment with the MQL5 VPS, do NOT click the Auto Trading button in your local MT4/5 terminal again, as this could cause your Expert Advisor to trade twice, which is highly dangerous.
