How to Access and Test the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© Demo Version in the MT5 Strategy Tester 

Keep in mind that the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© demo version must also be downloaded to properly test the Matrix Arrow EA MT5©. Watch the video guide below for testing instructions, or check the detailed steps provided further down. 

1. Navigate to the Market tab in your MT5 terminal (1). Enter 'matrix arrow' into the search field (2), and the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© and Matrix Arrow EA MT5© will appear in the results. Select the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© (3) to open its page. 

2. Click on the Download Demo button (4) for the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© to download the demo version into your Market Indicators folder. 

3. Return by clicking the grey arrow in the top left corner of the Market tab window and choose the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© instead (5). 

4. Press the Download Demo button (6) for the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© to download its demo version into your Market Expert folder. 

5. Access the Strategy Tester by going to MT5 >> View >> Strategy Tester, then select the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© from your Market folder for testing (7). 

6. Select the instrument for testing (8), pick the desired timeframe (9), set the test's time period (10), and configure the account balance and leverage (11). 

7. Navigate to the Inputs tab in the Strategy Tester, right-click on Load, and choose the appropriate set file (12) provided on the product’s description page or at the end of this page. 

8. Modify the trading hours to reflect your broker’s server time (13), since the set files are optimized for ICMarkets Raw Spread GMT+3 accounts. If your broker’s time is GMT+3 in the summer and GMT+2 in the winter, there’s no need for changes. Next, click the Start button at the bottom right of the Strategy Tester to begin the test (14). 

Check your broker’s server time in the Marketwatch window. If your broker isn’t on GMT+3 (summer) or GMT+2 (winter), adjust all set files’ trading hours to match. For instance, if your broker’s time is GMT+0, you will need to adjust all the trading hours by subtracting 3 hours, as shown below: 

Start Hour: 12

Start Minutes: 00

End Hour: 22

End Minutes: 50

you need to change it to:

Start Hour: 9

Start Minutes: 00

End Hour: 19

End Minutes: 50

If you want to trade the Matrix Arrow signals with your Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5©, you must purchase the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT4/5© separately! Otherwise the Matrix Arrow EA MT4/5© will work as a manual trade panel only.
